Figurative paintings

Chubarov: Style is a product of the times rather than one's inner essence. As far as formal features are concerned you could find something in common in my pictures with Mark Toby and Jackson Pollock, especially at the level of experimenting with rhythmic structures. But I'm more interested in the pictorial space as such. I see it as a chasm that excites me. In my dreams I try to open it up and penetrate its interior, to fill it with some visual substance.
